The pin which was made in the 1800s does not have a gold mark but was tested with nitric acid and a "kee" tester to be 14k solid yellow gold. It measures 1 1/8" x 1/4". The piece weighs 3.2 grams and set at the bottom is a oval natural brownish gray agate. It is in nice condition.
