The original Victorian Stick pin does not have a gold mark but was tested with Nitric Acid and a "kee" tester to be 14k solid gold. It weighs 2.0 grams and is 2 3/4" long. The crescent moon at the top holds three red natural rubies with an approx total weight of .45 cts and four mine cut natural diamonds with an approx totaL weight of .08 cts. The pin is in nice condition and does not have a stopper at the bottom.
